All month long, you can find educational/awareness posters (like the one below) displayed in CARTA busses. Thank-you CARTA for partnering with us!

November 6 Support Group

Dr. Jamie Masyk, chiropractor, will speak with us about the positive effects of chiropractic manipulation on siezure activity.  He has seen results, and would like to share with us about this drug-free therapy.

 

November 9

Epilepsy Day at the Race

Will Perry (pictured below) does road racing with the SCCA - Sports Car Club of America (scca.com), and goes to other states to compete. Will has voluntarily been a force for epilepsy awareness for months, going as far as to have the Epilepsy Foundation logo adhered to the hood of his prize Honda CRX SI. 

 

 

 

November 11

Open Mic  @ Tremont Tavern

Come hear some of Chattanooga's best songwriters at Tremont Tavern.  Wear a purple shirt - in honor of Epilepsy Awareness Month - and receive food and drink specials.


From 5-8pm, 20% food and drink for purple-wearing participants.

During Michael McDade's open mic, from 8pm-12am, purchase the PURPLE drink special. 100% of the proceeds support the Epilepsy Foundation Southeast Tennessee

Epilepsy Awareness on TV!

 

The Mountain City Club's Cindy Rix, Marketing and Sales Director, will be on 3 PLUS YOU channel 3 WRCB Chattanooga in honor of Epilepsy month. Cindy is on our board and she will be talking with Jed Mescon about the foundation and raising a child with epilepsy.

 

The Mountain City Club is proud to support many non-profits, like the Epilepsy Foundation of Chattanooga. 

 

November 15 

Epilepsy Day at The Chattanooga ZOO

Wear a PURPLE shirt on the 15th and get 1/2 off your admission to the ZOO! Also, we will be on-site, from 9am-5pm, providing educational and support services.  Purchase an official Epilepsy Foundation t-shirt for $13!

Songwriter Quarterfinals and Epilepsy Night @ The Camphouse

Come out to the Camphouse (1427 Williams St, Chattanooga, TN 37408), support local music, wear a PURPLE shirt, and get food and drink specials!  You can donate to help individuals with epilepsy afford seizure-reducing medication and purchase an official Epilepsy Foundation t-shirt for $13.  Doors open at 6:30pm, show starts at 7:30pm

Come out to the Honest Pint (35 Patten Pkwy, Chattanooga, TN 37402), support local music, wear a PURPLE shirt, and get food and drink specials!  You can donate to help individuals with epilepsy afford seizure-reducing medication and purchase an official Epilepsy Foundation t-shirt for $13.  If you are a songwriter, come early and sign up to play!   Sign-ups from 7:30pm-8pm, open mic from 8pm-10:30pm.

December 4 Holiday Party

Bring your friends and family and join us for a Holiday Celebration.  We will have carol singing, an ornament swap, and great food!
